Individual
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy can provide the space to explore areas of difficulty, process old and new traumas, and provide a sense of support and organization during a challenging time.
My practice incorporates several evidence-based modalities, with a primary specialization in EMDR. I am an EMDRIA-certified therapist, a credential awarded after completing additional clinical hours and professional consultation. I also incorporate Dissociative Parts work as needed to support EMDR reprocessing.
I firmly believe that when we change the limiting beliefs we live by, our experience of life changes.

Therapeutic Approaches
-
EMDR
EMDR is a structured therapy that encourages the client to focus briefly on the trauma memory while simultaneously experiencing bilateral stimulation (typically eye movements), which is associated with a reduction in the vividness and emotion associated with the trauma memories. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and PTSD symptoms. Ongoing research supports positive clinical outcomes showing EMDR therapy as a helpful treatment for disorders such as anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, addictions, and other distressing life experiences.

Dissociative Parts Work
Dissociative parts work is a therapeutic approach focused on healing trauma by identifying, understanding, and communicating with different fragmented self-states or "parts" of the mind. It reframes dissociation not as a flaw, but as a smart survival response to overwhelming childhood experiences or extreme stress.
